Emmons Jewelry is a vintage costume jewelry brand that was manufactured and sold exclusively through home parties from 1949 until 1981. Charles H. Stewart founded the company in Newark, New York, and named it after his wife, Caroline Emmons Stewart. Early pieces from 1949 to 1955 often feature "Emmons" with a copyright sign as this lovely pendant shows.
It features a gold-tone, textured ribbed disc framing a bouquet of red enamel flowers, green champlevé/cloisonné-style leaves, and three central protruding white faux-pearl beads. The pendant loop is closed and suitable for a delicate gold chain of 1mm-1.5mm. Because the original cable chain is not available, it makes this fashionable piece completely personal to your choice of chain length.
